Dorset: Charmouth to Stonebarrow

Movement of the coastal landslip to the east of Charmouth has made it necessary to close a short section of the Coast Path in the interests of public safety. Please follow the temporary diversion shown on the map and signed on the ground. Grid Ref SY 365 932 to SY 378 931 The diversion is about 1.5 miles. The continuation of the Coast Path above the closure has been kept open to allow people to enjoy the stunning views from the coastward facing slopes of Stonebarrow Hill.
